The Latin American Center for Philanthropy (referred to as CLAF for its initials in Portuguese) was inspired by leading research centres working in philanthropy and nonprofit management worldwide. CLAF's purpose is to strengthen and disseminate the science of philanthropy in Brazil and other Latin American countries, through research, teaching, and outreach.
