What are cookies?
A cookie is a piece of information in the form of a very small text file that is placed on an internet user’s computer. It is generated by a web page server (which is basically the computer that operates the web site) and can be used by that server whenever the user visits the site. SOFII uses two types of cookies: cookies set by SOFII and cookies set by third parties (i.e. other websites or services).

What cookies do we use on SOFII?
Cookies set by SOFII apply to charities, not donors, and simply enable us to keep charities signed in to their accounts throughout their visit. We do not have donor accounts, and so do not set cookies for donors in this way.

This keeps you signed in to your account during your visit so that you can access the features of your Big Give account.
Cookies set by Third Parties
We use Google Analytics to monitor traffic levels, search queries and visits to this website. Google Analytics stores IP address anonymously on its servers in the US, Google never associate your IP address with any personally identifiable information. These cookies enable Google to determine whether you are a return visitor to the site, and to track the pages that you visit during your session.This in turns helps us to improve our efficiency and generate more income for our charitable work.
