About the author

Rebecca Broad (Beck) (she/her) currently works at Teenage Cancer Trust as a Partnership Development Manager within their Corporate Partnership Team. Beck amassed experience in fundraising, since graduating from Aberystwyth University in 2013. Beck is an advocate of enhancing fundraising through creativity, with a belief in embracing creative colleagues. During the pandemic in 2019, she spent her her own time setting up ‘Pamperaid’. This was a campaign where she managed to secure over £60,000 of products from a variety of brands. This then saw over 3000 care boxes leave her home in South East London and go to NHS staff across the UK. As a result, Beck received a Points of Light award from the UK Prime Minister. Since then, Beck realised that new business is her calling and has used her creative skills to support her work further in the sector.
