‘Fundraising isn’t what I do, it’s who I am.’

Rebecca cut her teeth in the charity sector 10 years ago as a community fundraiser. She now leads the Corporate Partnership team at Mencap and is passionate about making the UK the best place in the world for people with a learning disability live. In 2016, Rebecca volunteered for an NGO in Brazil’s largest favela, and was inspired to set up a UK charity to continue to support the communities where she lived and worked. Non fundraising interests include travel (when restrictions allow), music and festivals, Salsa dancing, learning Spanish. Fun Fact: She has been to Clown School.
