About the author

Simon Dickson (he/him) is Director of Strategic Consultancy at THINK, a leading international consultancy dedicated to nonprofit fundraising. Simon has been working in the sector for over 20 years. He started his career as a trust and foundation fundraiser at The Wildlife Trusts before moving onto senior roles at world-leading heritage and conservation organisations such as Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew and the Natural History Museum before a stint at UNICEF UK, managing their philanthropy team.  

As a consultant, Simon specialises in philanthropy and in helping charities develop their case for support. He also manages THINK’s Philanthropy and Partnerships and Fundraising Directors’ Forums.
