About the author

Sudeshna Mukherjee is an Atlas Corps fellow from India and currently serves at GlobalGiving Foundationbased in Washington DC. As part of a project team, she supports GlobalGiving’s open access initiative to devise strategies for better engagement of social entrepreneurs who host projects and raise funds through the website. Sudeshna has a Master’s degree in social work from Tata Institute of Social Sciences in Mumbai and nearly seven years’ experience in programme management and resource mobilisation with Indian and international nonprofits. During her last assignment at Oxfam India she focused on corporate fundraising. Sudeshna is SOFII’s ambassador for India.
