We are always looking for new speakers to present at our IWITOT events around the globe. IWITOT is a great way to grow your network and get valuable public speaking experience.

SOFII works hard to ensure a diverse and inclusive line-up at our IWITOT events, and we actively encourage new faces to put themselves forward. We will support you along the way and can even offer help in sourcing a great fundraising idea or connect you with a mentor in the sector.

As an IWITOT speaker you will:

  1. Prepare a six to seven-minute presentation on a fundraising idea you wish you had thought of yourself. It cannot be your own idea or one from your own organisation.
  2. Present, with enthusiasm, the campaign of your choice to an audience of your fundraising peers worldwide.
  3. Participate in a short Q&A with the audience (depends on the event and format).
  4. Help SOFII to write up the campaign you have chosen, so it can be featured as a case history on our website for years to come.
  5. Enjoy the new connections and relationships you’ll make in the sector!

Speaking at IWITOT is a great experience.

But don’t just take our word for it. Hear what some of our recent IWITOT speakers have to say …

Lara Joyce, IWITOT speaker 2020: ‘I LOVED being a part of IWITOT, it was a fantastic experience and I cannot thank you enough for giving me the opportunity to be a presenter. It is so easy to forget how welcoming and warm the fundraising world can be. Watching all the presentations and reading the comments was amazing.’
Tahera Mayat, IWITOT speaker 2020: ‘I loved doing IWITOT! You get to look into an innovative campaign of your choice and share your learnings. I’d recommend IWITOT – it’s fun, a challenge (seven minutes!) and you get as much or as little support as you want.’
Julie Berthoud-Jury, IWITOT speaker 2020: ‘This amazing and inspiring event brought our fundraising community so close together! Thank you so much for letting me be part of IWITOT, it was a dream come true. I'm deeply honoured to have worked with you AND to have supported SOFII in a small way. Everything was perfect in the best possible way. I had a blast. Thanks to you for being a wonderful and caring crew.’
Saleem Tejani, IWITOT speaker 2020:  ‘I really enjoyed the whole day and thought all the speakers, content, tech and presenters were fabulous. Amazing efforts by SOFII, Open and you all for adapting this to virtual and continuing this event. It’s such a wonderful gift to the sector.’
