Fundraisers have a superpower – an unmatched ability to celebrate success, share failure, reach out to others and show gratitude. But why are we so good at these things?

We think it’s because, at the heart of every fundraiser, there’s an unspoken commitment to changing the world. There’s a little place, deep down in your ‘fundraising heart’, that reminds you to tell great stories, nurture donor relationships, and create effective campaigns for your cause.

As an avid SOFII reader, you’ll know that we are here to help you get all those basics right – by learning from the past and innovating wisely.

No matter if you are veteran fundraiser or a Gen Z newbie…. SOFII is your mixtape, your burned compact disc, your online playlist of fundraising favourites. It’s always ready to make you feel the fundraising love. It’s a reminder of our classic artists and an introduction to the sector’s new voices. It’s a place to share your own fundraising triumphs – those hits that nobody has heard yet.

But in order to keep our small charity going and keep on inspiring fundraisers in this way, we need your help.

Will you join the SOFII One Hundred so the sweet sound of successful campaigns can reach more fundraisers around the world?

The SOFII One Hundred is a group of changemakers who love supporting other fundraisers. One of the ways they do this is by quietly and compassionately giving a monthly gift to SOFII. Their donations mean we can offer fundraisers like you free access to ideas and inspiration – regardless of your organisational budgets, locations or circumstances.

Their collective support for our sector, and the people within it, is inspiring and impactful. You can meet them all, here

Every month the SOFII One Hundred help collaborate on the greatest fundraising mix of all time – SOFII.org’s website and our world-famous I Wish I’d Thought of That (IWITOT) events. And now, our chart topping super-group of donors includes over 60 kind fundraisers.

Would you like to join them by giving £10 a month (or a similar amount in your currency)?

Your monthly gifts will mean a fundraiser can be inspired by a brand-new case study or article every week – and get 24/7 access to SOFII’s huge library of the best appeals and opinions from fundraising’s rich history. You’ll also help ensure our IWITOT events continue to grow and thrive as a place of positivity and hope for fundraisers of all ages.

You’ll be joining fab people like Christine Neubeiser.

Christine (#87) is American but now lives in the UK. She works in fundraising at the British Asian Trust and has held previous roles at Terrence Higgins Trust, Leonard Cheshire Disability and Versus Arthritis.

When asked why she wanted to be part of the SOFII One Hundred, Christine said:

‘Being a fundraiser is the greatest profession – we get to be creative storytellers, business analysts and are the lifeblood of so many incredible causes. We are always better together and SOFII is an incredible enabler of growing the collective mind for all of us to learn from and build on the experiences of those around us.’

We also have donors from Switzerland, Australia and Vietnam. Each person is at a different point in their career and has a unique reason for being part of the community.

But they have one thing in common. They all want to help others deliver quality fundraising campaigns for the causes that are close to their hearts.

As a SOFII user and committed fundraiser yourself, will you listen to your ‘fundraising heart’ and join the SOFII One Hundred today?

Ultimately, with you on our side, we can reach our goal of 100 fundraisers – securing SOFII for more generations of passionate, motivated fundraisers.

Being part of the SOFII One Hundred is a chance to shape the future of fundraising.

You’ll give your fellow fundraisers the courage to innovate. You’ll help them as they learn from past lessons and embrace the foundations of great fundraising. You’ll let them build on the shoulders of the pioneers and share their successes back to SOFII and inspire the next generation.

If you love fundraising and want to help others too, please consider joining the SOFII One Hundred by setting up a regular gift to SOFII today. To find out what we can offer you in return for your kindness, click here.

Spoiler alert: you will definitely get one of our cool SOFII One Hundred pin badges and a beautiful print of the Treehouse of Knowledge/34 Foundations of Fundraising. We’ve given you a sneak peek of those below!
