SOFII’s view
This is so quick, simple, cheap and easy it is just great. Why can't all fundraisers take a leaf out of Channel 17's book and send donors promptly a cheery, appropriate and inexpensive thank you like this?
Summary / objectives
Simply to say thank you to a valued donor in the most personal and appropriate way possible.
Background
As a special assignment for America's Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) Ken Burnett set out to test a random selection of PBS stations in terms of how donor friendly or otherwise they were. This was one of the lucky by-products of that test, But, I'm sure Channel 17's membership office is always this good.
Special characteristics
So simple.
Influence / impact
Hopefully dozens of fundraisers around the world have copied this already. If you've not seen it or something like it used where you are, well...what are you waiting for?
Merits
So good, so easy to copy.
